From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank you for helping us provide some relief to people in many underdeveloped countries. Thanks to your generosity and support, we were able to fund multiple projects that made a direct impact across the globe. To see exactly where your donations were used, please read the following brief summary of the projects for which we provided funds.

Honduras: We have continued our support of the excellent work of a program started by Catholic Sisters in San Pedro Sula, the second largest city in the country. This project helps families by providing funds for the required children’s uniforms, so they may attend school. The Sisters also help the local community improve their conditions in the hovels where many live.

Amount Donated by HOPe in 2022: $20,000

Peru: We have a long-running commitment to a dynamic Franciscan nun, Sr. Rosa, who provides preschool services and a kitchen that feeds 150 children.

Total Donated by HOPe in 2022: $45,000

Guatemala: A new project in the Nejab area of Guatemala was approved last year after being visited by two of our senior members. The focus here among the largely Mayan population is to build a school for the local children.

Total Donated by HOPe in 2022: $83,500

Ethiopia: Working with A Partnership with Africa, the HOPe project in this country is focused on helping children in the Amhara Region in Northwest Ethiopia.

Total Donated in 2022: $20,000

Thailand: Mercy Center in Bangkok provides a shelter for 150 abandoned and often trafficked young people. This program has expanded to provide preschool services for children aged 3-6, currently supporting over 1000 children.

Total HOPe Donation in 2022: $10,000

Peru: La Posidita del Buen Pastor in Lima provides food and tutoring for women and children in vulnerable situations.

Total HOPe Donation in 2022: $6,250

Nigeria: HOPe is supporting the development of a water borehole well in the Anambra State. The well can pump clean water and supply electricity to that community.

Total HOPe Donation in 2022: $15,000

Nigeria: We support a medical clinic in a poor rural community in Orumba North, also in the Anambra State. Very little medical care is available for people in this region.

Total HOPe Contribution in 2022: $10,000

We depend on our donors to continue the incredible work being done with these projects. The HOPe Organization has negligible overhead costs, and no member has received any payment for personal costs of any kind.  Our members traveling to assess projects overseas do so at their own expense. HOPe maintains a non-sectarian status. While we are happy to work with religious groups who provide great services to poor people, we do not endorse any dogma and we look for assurance that HOPe money is not used to promote any set of religious beliefs.

We thank you for your valued support and we ask for your continued generosity.
