Costa Rica

Update 2022:

We have contributed a lot of money to Costa Rica over the years. Most recently, we sponsored a scholarship for a young man who just graduated as an electrician.

HOPe has been a central benefactor of the construction and maintenance of the New Horizon’s School in La Carpio.  The school serves a very poor community comprised largely of indigent, displaced earthquake victims from Nicaragua.  From the beginning, the plan for the school has been to create a trade school, that is also a safe haven for children to obtain a basic, fundamental education, necessary for their future success.  HOPe helps this community with:

  • construction of a school building

  • construction of medical facility

  • medical supplies

  • school supplies

  • educational programs

  • recreational programs
